Symbols

List every company tracked by EarningsCall.

GEThttps://edge.alpha.earningscall.dev/symbols

Returns the full list of companies (exchange, name, symbol). Filter by exchange or a free-text search to narrow the result. Demo accounts receive a small curated list.

The list comes back under symbols, next to a meta object that carries the request id and the item count — see the response envelope.

Parameters#

apikeystringRequired

Your API key.

exchangestringOptional

Filter to a single exchange, e.g. NASDAQ. Case-insensitive.

searchstringOptional

Substring match against symbol or company name. Case-insensitive.

The demo key returns the two companies below. A paid key returns every company we track.

Search by name or symbol#

search is a case-insensitive substring match against both the ticker symbol and the company name.

401invalid_api_key — Auth failure.429rate_limit_exceeded — Plan rate limit exceeded.500internal_error — Symbols list could not be loaded.
